What the fuck? Just shaking my head, Amy, so sorry that some asshole stole your work, doesn’t matter what it is. I did nude photos years ago but one of them was online on the photographer’s site for years ( not identified as me). I’m also proud of how I looked!💕
Thank you Sheila for your solidarity and support 🥰❤️. I take all my own pictures so I’m the photographer and the subject. People can really suck, but they can also be wonderful.
That’s absolutely terrible Amy! I’ve seen this happen to a bunch of women. Supposedly there’s a whole Reddit dedicated to giving away paywalled OF content for free. Extremely frustrating stuff. I hope those suckers get their due
Yes, a couple of photos ended up on Reddit too. This is just another example of men thinking they have the right to do whatever they want with women's bodies. Meanwhile, the prevailing reaction is, "Well, what did you expect?" As if it's perfectly normal and acceptable for women to have their work stolen and their livelihoods messed with. I still feel like I already won because I'm innovating and creating and they are stealing. I'll always be ahead of them, no matter what they do. XO 🥰
K, I love you 🥰. Thank you for being livid on my account. I'm doing okay now and a lot of the sites have taken down my photos. All the links referenced me by my former IG handle, which I changed to @amygabriellenyc. I wasn't quite ready to let my old handle go, but this forced my hand. I am so grateful to have you in my circle. ❤️
You are still the someone who I admire greatly. It’s been several months since I have read anything of yours, so I thought I’d check on what you have written. I’m so sad that this happened to you. I just knew that you were going to have something uplifting to say and you were going to make me laugh, as you have done so many times in the past. I am glad that you are making headway with getting your work removed from the seedy places where it was shared.
As far as how people may judge you for putting yourself on display on OF, it was something that empowered you and you should never, ever feel ashamed of yourself for that. None of us know what it was like to be in your shoes at that time. I applaud you for finding an outlet that allowed you to get to where you are today.
I’m sorry that you are going through this, but selfishly I am once again reminded of what a truly gifted writer and an amazing person you are.
Hi Brett, great to "see" you! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I was hoping my reference to American pissed rather than British pissed would give some people a chuckle. I've always appreciated your kind words and generous support. I'm wishing you all good things in 2025 🥰
So sorry you went through this. The shame part too, it's not the way it should be. My social media yoga videos. I feel shame for that and they are modest and even if they weren’t no shame. If someone were to say something , I get met by "what did you
expect". I'm not hiding myself anymore
It's your creation. It was your's and people suck sometimes. There is a double standard for sure Amy
Yes! Exactly. What did we expect? Um, that people don’t steal our work??? That people treat us with dignity and respect?? You are right Jane, some people do suck, but we win because we are awesome! 🥰❤️
At one time one business owner started stealing all of my new ideas.
Until "The good old boys" who been around for 30-50 years in business started calling me to ask me?
"Ashley I don't know if you have noticed but this business owner has been building her resume on all of your ideas."
" I responded: " It's fine, it's okay, just let her."
" What ?¿ let her?" That's unacceptable Ashley!"
I told them:
"Well she can steal all of my ideas I'd she wants to, but what she doesn't know is that she is missing my secret ingredient. " Nothing will work without my secret ingredient."
"Secret ingredient?"
"Yes, watch what happens in a little while."
Sure enough her resume came crashing down like a fly that got butt kicked and didn't feel it until the fly realized that they were missing their entire butt!
BAM!!
Her resume decreased from 30 lines to 2 lines!! That taught her to steal from other people's businesses.
I think your reaction is an understandable, and unfortunately common, one. It's challenging enough to publish photos of oneself that create a risk of exposure or possibly censure. But to have them stolen is a double violation. I think many people, unfortunately, experience this on the Internet. Do whatever you can to assert your rights and have violating material taken down.
Thank you Simon. Google already removed most of the links in their search function and a couple of the sites took the photos down. I really appreciate your support. 🥰
I'm so sorry this happened to you. If we feel shame when images of our bodies are violated, is it any wonder that one of the first reactions when someone's actual body is violated is also shame? And isn't that exactly what the perpetrator wants? To defer the attention of their wrongness away from themselves. Nuh uh. Not happening here. And I love that.
From my German perspective, it’s disheartening to see how much seems to be going wrong in the US right now, particularly in areas of justice and accountability. While my heart is rooting for better and more just times for the US, I know that offers little consolation in the moment.
What happened to you is a betrayal, plain and simple, and there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of—neither in sharing what you shared nor in having had trust in the good of people, only to have that trust broken.
Betrayal of trust is deeply painful, and sadly, it happens.
I can relate to the sting of betrayal on a personal level. This year, I lost 1,600 euros—my entire savings—after trusting someone who didn’t act with integrity. Most of that money was meant for necessities like taxes, and the impact was hard to manage.
In Germany, laws are strict when it comes to protecting both personal rights and intellectual property. Unauthorized sharing of intimate images is not only illegal but also subject to criminal prosecution under Section 201a of the German Criminal Code. Similarly, copyright law provides creators with exclusive rights over their work, and infringers can be held accountable.
It’s frustrating that this level of legal protection isn’t consistent everywhere, but your story serves as an important reminder of the systemic issues at play.
By refusing to feel shame, you’ve already reclaimed some of your power, and by sharing your experience, you’re challenging harmful societal narratives.
Your courage to speak out matters—it’s a step toward change and a powerful statement against the stigma and injustice too many endure.
I am there with you on values and belief. Screw them. Jay
Screw those mother tuckers. Ironically, when I heard that your art was stolen I thought it was your writing . . . .I love your response and perfect way to turn it around (and the bike lock is just a perfect accompaniment.
Absolutely. That's the reason why I don't have an account with Facebook, Instagram or X. I pick my social media platforms. I'm very sorry that you had to endure this kind of abuse. Do you know who did this to you?
I’m so relieved to hear that. My goodness I tell you what that must have been a nightmare to deal with. Long time ago I was on FB trying to create a SafeZone Community space for my Advocacy and someone thought it would be funny to have a full blown “Sex Scene” on my Community Space.
I was so angry by this that I had to take a deep breath and take a few minutes to unload my 4 stages of disbelieve.
But then I ripped them another one because at that point I didn’t care what FB thought or did at that point. But everyone knew that ones I let it rip, there is no escaping Ashleys Rampage. That is the reason why I always suggested to my clients to take their business to a more reputable social media platform.
Where there is peace and positive experiences. FB could not believe that I permanently Deactivated my account. I also left them a message behind for Meta or Beta….. darn whatever they call themselves. “You are supposed to protect your FB accounts and ensure that no harm will come to them, if you were employed by my business I would have overhauled the entire system.”
Fuckers not okay to take what you want. Never.
I know, right? I was seriously plotting revenge, but then I just put in a few requests and things are starting to be taken down. XO 🥰❤️
Good to hear. Revenge is exhausting thanks for sharing.

Correct and correct! A pox on those losers anyway
AMY!! Clutching my pearls right along with you! WTF?! I am so sorry. I would be livid too, and I AM LIVID with and for you!
You wrote about the feeling so well.
I am so sorry.
You have a circle of support all around you here!! ♥️

I'm so sorry to hear this, Amy! People suck.
Thank you Chris. Yeah, some people do suck, but not us. We rock! 🥰
Truth!

Thank you dear friend. XO🥰

Thanks lady!!
True, True ....

Screw those mother tuckers. Ironically, when I heard that your art was stolen I thought it was your writing . . . .I love your response and perfect way to turn it around (and the bike lock is just a perfect accompaniment.
Oh Chris, thank you for your support and encouragement these last few months - it's a two way street between us. And yeah, screw them! 🥰
Gahhhhhh I’m angry right along with you. Those fuckers.
Mesa, you know how to make me laugh. Those fuckers indeed! No chocolate or coffee for them ever again! 🥰❤️
No pity - I just love you (and hope you find some justice). ❤️
I love you too, thank you Bonnie 🥰❤️.
I like your podcast. You are funny
Thank you so much!
Absolutely. That's the reason why I don't have an account with Facebook, Instagram or X. I pick my social media platforms. I'm very sorry that you had to endure this kind of abuse. Do you know who did this to you?
Thank you again for your support and kind words. Unfortunately I don’t know who stole my photos, but most of the websites have removed them.

I love your reframe. 100% agree.
Hi Danika! Thank you so much. It took a hot minute for me to get there, but I didn't do anything wrong. 🥰
