I am sorry life is heavy for you right now, Amy. Milestone birthdays can bring up a lot of heavy emotions for any of us Moms, so I can only imagine the additional weight of all Steven is missing and will miss. Sending you some gentle love there.
Thanks for sharing these ways you are relieving stress besides sex. Sex is a big stress reliever for me too-so good for my mental health-when it is good healthy sex anyway-and orgasmic sex. I just broke up with my bf of 2 years, so solo sex relief it will be, ha.
I really appreciated reading how we think about stress is important-so helpful to read that.
Thank you Rosemary for your kind words 🥰. I'm sorry to hear about the breakup with your boyfriend. I have to admit that I have missed sex these last couple of years, but I am happy pleasing myself - at least I know where everything is and how it works 🤣. Sending you much love and a big hug. XO ❤️
lol to at least you knowing where everything is and how it works. Sad, so many men do not educate themselves on our bodies and how to pleasure them. These days, with the knowledge and the internet literally in their hands, there is just no excuse. This man actually did know both of these and very well, so I will extra miss that.
Thrilled! Thanks for sharing your stress soothers. We all need these right now! I do sound healing (free weekly sound bath in the park). Today I posted 5 simple vocal tools to soothe and reset the Vagal nerve. Ahhh…. 🥰 Looking forward to soaking in your brainspotting track.
I loved listening to this Amy. One thing that stuck out with me was telling my I love me. To be honest, I don’t tell my self that. Why? I don’t know why I don’t tell myself that.
I wasn't in the habit of telling myself "I love you" either, but it had a very comforting effect when I tried it. We cannot control if other people love us, but we always have the choice to love ourselves. I really appreciate your comment, and I'm so glad you liked listening to the audio.
I love @Sarah Blondin too. I discovered her during the pandemic and listened on repeat. She’s also on podcast app with Live Awake. Thank you for this list.
These are my go to stress relievers because they are so easy to do - just read and listen. I know everyone says to do yoga, but when I'm super stressed it's hard to even get dressed. Lots of love gratefully accepted dear Mesa. I'm sending love back to you along with a giant hug! XO 🥰❤️
I love the idea of embracing rather than reducing stress- the more I learn about just about everything we try to avoid, the more I realize we just need to lean into these things. Thanks for the reminder, Amy!
Hi Amy, thanks for these links. I am familiar with Elizabeth Gilbert’s, Letters from Love 🥰, and particularly keen to check out the meditation. All very timely as it is John’s 6th death day today, a bit of quiet meditation. Sending love to you 😊🙏❤️

This title made me smile - great. And yes to these tips! My friend is a brainspotting therapist. Cool stuff.
Every little bit of stress relief helps these days, although I am kind of missing sex. It's been awhile. XO 🥰❤️

My pleasure Christine! I usually have the brainspotting soundtrack on in the background while I write. I hope you find it helpful.
Ooo, I want to check out your vocal tools to soothe/reset the Vagal nerve!
Wonderful! I listen to an ADHD playlist while I write. Here's my post:

PS: I made the video fast so I wouldn't allow fears of how I look stop me. Forgot to check inside my nose! 🤪 posted anyway.

Embracing stress: love that idea. Making it your friend. Thanks for this, Amy.🙏🫶💕
You are welcome Mary 🥰❤️. I know you've been having a rough time of it, so sending you extra love and a big hug. XO 😍

I can't get rid of all my stress, but I can have a more positive relationship with it. Sending love and hugs to you Kendall 🥰❤️
